The Redhead Heroines List

This is constantly expanding list of redhead heroines in any fiction books. Why are there so many? I'm not sure. The purpose of this list is simply to say, "Whoa! Look how many redhead heroines there are!" not "There are so many redhead heroines because ______________," get the picture?

If you have a redhead heroine that is not on this list that you would like to be added, please email me the name of the character, the title of the book and the author to this address: redheadheroines[at]gmail[dot]com

Thanks so much!

          7. YAY! I'm so glad you made this list. There are so many brunettes and blondes as heroines, but def. not enough red heads. Being a red head myself, I feel like I can relate to the heroine a bit better when she is a red head.

          11. Add in Amy ( Amaryllis) the red-headed teenage witch in Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore. She is a modern-day girl trying to keep separate her magicallly-gifted family and the normal life of a teenager. Meanwhile, she is hunting ghosts on a Texas ranch and falling in love with the cowboy next door. Fun. And of course she is spunky. The cover is super. Check it out.

          12. This is a great list! I've randomly ended up reading quite a few with redheads lately - Dance of Shadows by Yelena Black, Defiance by C. J. Redwine,Pantomime by Laura Lam, Neptune's Tears by Susan Waggoner - all totally different types of books!

          13. I'm trying to find a book with a red head heroine. I remember the book was split into two parts, the first where her father died and the second where she meets a man who she despises at first. There's a scene where they race to a hotel on their horses and he tells her that if he wins he gets to kiss her. She gets this ring by a secret admirer but she tells the person who handed it to her to give it back and when the man goes to finally collect the kiss she notices he is wearing the ring and they fall in love but I just can't remember the title or the author or the character names but I wish I would because it was one of my favorite books. I remember the ending had something to do with a tree and she defeated some evil man with supernatural powers. then at the very end of the book was a little add on and the title was the heroin's love interest's name "____'s birthday surprise" and she tells him she's pregnant. that's all I can remember other than the cover had a girl with red hair and a castle on it someone please help me
